Check out our write up in the Pasadena Star News!
Want to build your own robot? Here are three ideas to get you started:
1) The Museum of Science in Boston offers an exciting Design Your Own Robot online exhibit that allows you to design and construct robots online to solve real world situations, such as exploring a live volcano or entertaining humans at a party. Design Your Own Robot is free and you can try it here.
2) Have some family fun building a "green" robot out of recycled goods found in your own home! You can use salad containers, yogurt containers, bottle tops, boxes, cans, nuts, bolts, silverware, electrical wire and more to build a robot of your imagination. Don't forget the tinfoil!
3) Children age 8 and up can enjoy building with an affordable robot kit available online.
Meanwhile at Kidspace, our robotics camp got off to a great start! Led by Education Specialist Gerard Gonzales, 12 creative campers are spending the week designing, building and programming robotic machines using the Techno K'NEX building system. Stay tuned for photos of their awesome creations.
