United We Serve

On June 22nd, President Obama announced an initiative, called United We Serve, asking Americans to volunteer and serve their community. This initiative has been great for many organizations around the country, including Kidspace.

Kidspace has welcomed many volunteers this summer and is very appreciative of the time and energy these folks have donated to the Museum. Since the initiative began, organizations have seen an increase in volunteerism. Similar to many organizations, the American Association of Museums is very supported of United We Serve and hopes that this initiative will provide more volunteer hours, especially at museums.
